Obituary for Woodrow Sinclair

Visitation: Tuesday, May 10, 2011 10am Gospel Power Christian Church, 7005 Ascension Drive Service: 11am Interment: St. Peter's Cemetery Mr. Woodrow Sinclair was born on March 18, 1918 in Cleveland, Arkansas to the late Wil and Frances Sinclair. He was an only child. He was raised and educated in Morrilton, Arkansas. Woodrow was united in holy matrimony to the late Lovine Sinclair on December 2, 1939. To this union 13 children were born. Twins, Brenda and Linda and his oldest daughter, Helen Hester (Charles) preceded him in death. Woodrow Sinclair's anointed walk with Christ began at an early age in New Madrid, Missouri at B. B. Memorial C.M.E. Church under the leadership of the late T. R. Taylor. After moving to St. Louis, he continued his walk at Cleaves Memorial C.M.E. Church. He later joined Christ Temple Church under the leadership of his son, Rev. John L. Sinclair, Sr. Woodrow Sinclair was employed at Kiel Auditorium for 35 years until the closing. He then went to Charter Communications where he stayed for 15 years. Woodrow departed this life at 10:07pm on May 4, 2011 at Pillars of North County. He will be dearly missed. Woodrow leaves to cherish his memory his children, Sammie L. (Barbara) Sinclair, Woodie E. (Anita) Sinclair, Rev. John L. (Gloria) Sinclair, Sr., Frances M. Sinclair, Shirley A. (Robert) Johnson, Cordell Sinclair, Margaret A. Pettis, Loretta (Juan) Sims, Lena R. (Jesse) Moye, Geraldine (Gary)Lee, Shante' Sinclair, Termeka Sinclair and Domonique Sinclair, also his adopted son, Graylene (Mary Ann) McCormick; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and other relatives; and a special cousin, Billy Monts.
