Pre-Planning Form
Pre-planning your funeral provides peace of mind for you and your loved ones. Just about everyone can benefit from pre-planning for their funeral, but it is especially important for people in these situations:
- Retirement or about to retire
- Living Alone
- People concerned with providing for their parents or other relatives
- Those who will be living on a fixed income, such as Social Security Medicaid Benefits or Public Aid.
- Those planning on entering a nursing home or other long term care facilities.
- Those who wish to remove the burden of decision making from their family
- and those with strong preferences.
How to Pre-Plan Your Funeral
There are several choices when pre-planning for your funeral.
No-Payment Plan.
You record by letter or by filling out non-binding forms with us your specific requests regarding, among other things, the type of service you want, the minister, and who you would like to nominate as your pallbearers.
Pre-Financed Trust or Insurance Plan
Pre-funding your funeral ensures that there is enough money available for your funeral to both reflect your wishes, and to not be a financial burden on your surviving family members. Pre-payment of a funeral plan also helps to offset the effects of inflation and future price increases.
