Obituary for William Kirk

William Earl Kirk, age 57, passed away on November 26, 2010. Funeral Services for William Kirk were held on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church, 5300 Helen Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri with Rev. Leonard Dennis, Pastor-Officiating. William Earl Kirk was born to Alice Mae Jeffries and James L. Moorehead on May 21, 1953 in Charleston, Mississippi. Both parents, his grandparents, three uncles, one aunt and a nephew preceded him in death. William confessed in Christ. William enjoyed playing basketball, working on cars and hot rod cars. He never forgot his family and friends and asked about them often. William departed this life on Friday, November 26, 2010 in Wisconsin. William leaves to cherish his memory: his step-father John (Fran) Jeffries, Jr. (whom raised him) of Blackjack, MO; siblings, Danny Kirk of St. Louis, MO; Mack “Mike” (Susan) Kirk, Indianapolis, IN; Lisa Jeffries of St. Louis, MO; Juan (Valerie) Jeffries, Florissant, MO; Monica Jeffries of St. Louis, MO; Dennis Brown of Charleston, MS; one uncle, Joe Kirk of Milwaukee, WS; two aunts, Elnora Turner of Memphis, TN and Laura Mae Tenner of Charleston, MS; a close cousin, Ethel Mae Kirk of Milwaukee, WS; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name' sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: For thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou annointest my head with oil; My cup runneth over.Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever. Psalm 23
