Obituary for Walter Lewis Jr.

Walter Lewis Jr. was born October 30, 1946 in Saint Louis, Missouri to Walter Lewis Sr., and the late Faye Elizabeth Lewis who preceded him in death.   He confessed in Christ at an early age. Later he served in the U.S. Army in Germany for two years. He was very talented and love to sing like his Brother, Robert Lewis who preceded him in death.   Walter and Wanda united in Holy Matrimony in the year 1973 . To this union one daughter was born, Teresa Lewis and four adopted children, Timothy, Cornelius, Lisa, and Wendell preceded him in death.   He later joined Friendly Temple Missionary Baptist Church and recommitted his life through baptism in late 2007 . Where he quoted “ I brought the LORD with me” after he was baptized.”   He leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter; four adopted children; Father, Walter Lewis Sr.; Stepmother , Lauren Mae Lewis; two sisters , Sandra and Berlinda; two step-sisters Vivian and Gloria; seven nephews , Aaron Sr., Demetrius, Jerome, Ricky, Malcolm, Deandrea, and Jesse Jr.; who preceded him in death; five nieces , Keyana, Liondra, Faye, Zandra, and Samandra; four great-nieces , Crystal, Quinesha, Bryiana, and Keyanti; six great-nephews , Aaron Jr., Darion, William, Jesse, Damarion, and Monte; eight uncles , Joe, Luther, Herman, Willy, Jimmy, Ed, Milton, and Jesse; who preceded him in death, three aunts , Flora, Annette, and Joanne;   And a host of cousins and great friends.
