Obituary for Sallie Hall

S allie Hall was born January 30, 1924 in Lefloria County, Mississippi to the union of Lee Johnson of Satartia, Mississippi and LueBertha Wright of Lexington, Mississippi.   She was one of fourteen children, all but two sisters, Shervnia Welton and Odiev Norris, have preceded her in death.   Sallie Wright Johnson lived, and was educated in Shaw, Mississippi; where she met and married Roy Hall, on July 6, 1946 .   They relocated to St. Louis, Missouri later that year.   To this union, two sons, Alvin and Clyde and one daughter, Idaline were born.   Sallie was a loving mother and an energetic and hard worker who has touched the lives of many.   She was a warrior as well, fighting a long, hard battle against asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).   She took her final rest in her home of 35 years on Goodfellow Blvd.   Sallie leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter , Idaline; her two sons , Alvin and Clyde;   her two daughters-in-law , Donna and Karen; her three grandchildren , Jeloni, Ashaki and Akili;   one great-grandson , Farand Washington, II;   a host of other relatives and friends.
