Obituary for Orville Kimble

Orville Reed Kimble was born Jan. 13, 1935 in St. Louis, MO.  He was the third oldest of 18 children born to Frank Kimble and Blanche Bentley. He confessed a ahope and faith in Christ at an early age, later in life he joined the Good Samaritan MB Church under the leadership of Rev. Will H. Davis. He received his education in the St. Louis public school system. He married Faith Covington in 1951 to this union 3 children were born, Sabrina, Melba and Orville Jr.  His son and wife Bessie Kimble preceded him in death. He was employed at DePaul Hospital where he retired in 1999 as a custodian.  He also worked for Douglas Group Visitation School and Salem Methodist Church for several years. Orville was loved by all: friends, family and everyone who knew him.  He was a very giving and loving individual.  Orville had a heart of gold and would help any and everyone who needed him. He departed this life on Sept. 28, 2016, this is when God called him home. He leaves to cherish his memories one sister Lovie M. Haynes, 3 daughters Sabrina, Melba, and Debora, 3 stepdaughters Sophia, Yolanda, and Montia, 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  He has a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
