Obituary for Larry Gibson

Larry Darnel Gibson was born Jan. 23, 1960 in West Point, MS to the union of Joe Willie, Sr. and Queen Odessa Gibson who both preceded him in death. Larry joined in holy matrimony in 1992 to Lori Jackson.  No children came out of their union. He was blessed with 3 daughters; Noelani Danelle McBride in 1985, Gina Renee Daily Hall (Jerome) in 1987 and Marley Larie Gibson in 2008. Larry was educated in the St. Louis Public School Sysytem. He was a fun loving, happy and giving person.  He was an entrepreneur and opened several businesses; car washes, beauty and barbershops and renovated old houses, giving work and providing transportation to many. Larry was baptizedat an early age and rededicated his life as an adult into Jesus at Northern Baptist Church. Larry leaves to cherish his memory and legacy three daughters Noelani, Gina and Marley; one grandson, Jackson Alexander Michael Hall; 5 sisters, one preceding him in death, Diane Thomas Gibson, Mary Helen Mc Millian (Eddie) of West Point. Betty Gibson and Sandra Harrison (BJ) of Las Vegas, NV, Frances Gibson Moore of St. Louis; three brothers, two who proceded him in death, James and Joe Willie Gibson, Jr., and Stewart Gibson of Las Vegas, NV; 14 nieces and nephews; two special sisters, Gwendolyn Jones Townsend and Regina Harmon-Ward and a very special person he held close to his heart Jeffrey A. Moore (Frances) and Judy Thomas (Arthur); a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
