Julius Hardeman aka “Big Moe”, “Big Daddy” and “Dicky” was born on October 26, 1968 in Saint Louis, Missouri to Earlean Hardeman and the late Robert King. Dicky was the fourth of six children. Dicky knew the Lord from a young age and attended Haynes Miracle Temple with his mother and family. Julius aka Dicky was a vivacious, fun loving, mischievous child who was the light of his mother’s eye. Dicky’s educational journey started in the East St. Louis school system until his family relocated to Detroit, Michigan where he received his education in the Detroit Public School system. Dicky was well known and loved by everyone he met even as a child. During his childhood he would spend the summers with his father. Dicky would spread love and fun to all his family and friends. He was a big kid who earned the name Dicky as a boy based on a popular wrestler named Dick the Bruiser. As a teenager Dicky relocated to St. Louis, Missouri to be with his sister Marcia. Dicky was always close to his sister. One would almost think they were twins as they were so very close. As a young man Dicky met and married Shirley Jordan aka Frog. During this time Dicky gained the name “Big Moe” as a result of being the Grand Sheik of the Muslim unit he represented during that time. During this time Dicky also had his beautiful daughter Da’Che Cooper. Dicky was always with his family and you could always find him representing the love and adoration he felt for them and they reciprocated to him. He was a staple at family events and family reunions. Dicky later became the president of the McKinney Family Reunion. His spirit of always uniting people was present in every walk of life from his club days and beyond. As president of the family reunion he was pressing unity within his family and was passionate about his post. Dicky sponsored many successful family events and was always ready to move his family forward together. Dicky joined Faith Independent Methodist Church and under the leadership of Pastor Lilton Davidson excelled in his spiritual journey. Dicky loved the Lord and would always say, “I’m not worried because God got by back.” Dicky attended regularly and fervently participated in church functions. During this time Dicky met a truly special friend, Kizzy White who was always by his side and loved him, (##Team Moe##), till the very end. Dicky was called home to be with the father on Monday May 6, 2013 while surrounded by his loving family. He leaves to cherish his multiple loving memories: his mother ~ Earlean Hardeman; wife ~ Shirley Hardeman; special friend ~ Kizzy White; one daughter ~ Da’Che Cooper; two special children ~ DaMarco Jackson and Kori Washington; two step-daughters; four stepsons; three grand-daughters ~ Ja’Nieya, Da’Nieyah (fat cat), Mika’La; thirty step-grandchildren; seven sisters ~ Cachet, Rashonda, Stephanie, Katrina, Nedra, Dorothy and Robinann; five brothers ~ Johnnie Jr., Maurice, Keith, Derwin and Louis. He also leaves countless nieces and nephews as well as a host of family and friends. One sister and one brother preceded him in death {Marcia Clinkscale and Andre Hardeman}. ----
