Obituary for Herman "Pee Wee" Montgomery

The Life of Herman (PeeWee) Montgomery Herman Montgomery was born on March 15, 1961 in St. Louis, Missouri to Lloyd and Wanda Montgomery. His father Lloyd preceded him in death along with his paternal and maternal grandparents. He attended The Nativity of Our Lord Catholic grade school. Herman gave his life to Christ while attending the school, as he was an altar boy. He learned a lot about Christ that in his adulthood he would call on the Lord when he was in trouble. Herman then attended the Academy of Math & Science high school where he graduated. Herman had fun memories of his childhood, which he would always talk about. Herman (PeeWee as many would call him) was a man who wasn’t a stranger to anyone. He always went out of his way to help those that were in need. Herman worked for C4 Security for the last 5 years and was well respected by his peers. He was a leader, which he did not always recognize or give himself credit for because he would always give advice on any situation. He would always sit on the porch watching what was going on in the neighborhood while listening to his music. Everyone that knew Herman knew he had an obsession with motorcycles and they were his passion. If he had a lot going on that became overwhelming, he would take a long ride to clear his thoughts. Herman enjoyed being the caretaker for his mom. He waited on her hand and foot making sure she would not want for anything. Herman was the only man in house and loved to wait on his girls as he referred to them meaning his mother and of course, his dog Bella until his wife came along. Herman then met the love of his life Patricia. This union was built on love and friendship that remained unbroken. They shared many laughs and tears while going through this life. His love was unconditional that kept her smiling. The day of his wedding, Herman was so excited that those who were present laughed as he was grinning from ear to ear and took the marriage license to say, “I’s married now and this is my wife!” Herman leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Patricia; daughter Jenna of Hallsville, Missouri; 4 stepchildren Damon (Shannon), Shineka (Shaon), Philip, Xavier; 7 step grandchildren; one brother Reginald (Sandra); two sisters Anitress, Regina (Marshall); uncle Adrian (JoAnn) and aunt Ernestine, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends along with special friends, Vernon Compton, Troy Morehouse and his neighborhood buddies. Herman (PeeWee) will truly be missed. “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” -Matthew 11:28
