Obituary for Frank Johnson

Frank Johnson was born on September 28, 1947 in Deeson, Mississippi to Miss Georgia Louis and Mr. Arthur Johnson. At the age of fourteen, Frank confessed his hope in Christ. He attended Bob Woods School in Gunn, Mississippi. At the age of eighteen, Frank left Mississippi and went on to Waukegan, Illinois where he worked for Johns Manville for over ten years. In the mid 70's, Frank moved to Kenosha, Wisconsin and worked for Comosy Construction until his retirement. It wasn't until 2000 that Frank made his home in St. Louis, Missouri where he had many family and friends. He was a family man who loved to spend his time fishing and watching sports. Frank was called home on Sunday, July 19, 2015 while surrounded by family. He is preceded in death by both of his parents, Georgia Louis and Arthur Johnson, his siblings, Arthur, Johnny, Josephine, Ethel May and Rob and his grandparents, Josephine and Frenchie Wells. Frank is survived by his brothers, Freddy Shelley (Waukegan, IL), Willie Lee Louis (St. Louis, MO) and Curtis Johnson (Shelby, MS); his sisters, Minnie Phillips (St. Louis, MO), Pearletha West (St. Louis, MO), Rose Johnson (St. Louis, MO) and god-sister, Evelyn King (Cleveland, MS), his children, Tremain Johnson (Kenosha, WI) Athena Johnson (Kenosha, WI), Calvin Johnson (Kentucky), Tonda Johnson (Racine, WI) and Jona Curtis (St. Louis, MO); and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
