Mr. Dion T. Stovall was born on March 23, 1976 in St. Louis, Missouri to Michelle Stovall and Rudy Weaver. Dion’s paternal grandparents, his maternal grandfather, Leonard Stovall, his aunt, Sharon Stovall and his uncles, Herbert and Darwin Stovall all preceded him in death. Dion confessed his hope in Christ at an early age and always kept his faith in God. Dion was educated in the St. Louis Public School System. He graduated from Vashon High School in 1994 and went on to attend college in Hutchinson, Kansas. Dion was a loving and caring young man. He always showed his love for his children, mother and step-father, his brothers and sisters and his extended family and friends. He was always ready to help when and where he could. Dion was a leader and could be “bossy” when he felt it was necessary. He was a real “people person” whenever he was around anyone. He had a very special bond with his cousins, Dominic, Erica, Tyjuan and Angie who will miss him very much but will always carry him in their hearts. Dion leaves to cherish his memories: his mother ~ Michelle Stovall; stepfather ~ Darren Thompson; father ~ Rudy; his brothers ~ Corey Stovall, Marlo Mitchell; and sister ~ Angela (Jarret) Smith, all of St. Louis, Missouri; his children ~ Dion Stovall, Jr., Dionna Stovall, Diovion Stovall and Kameryn Stovall; grandparents ~ Gloria and Sam Wallace; his special friend ~ Ashley Scarbrough; also Dion’s friends since childhood ~ Darryll Wilson and Terrell Robinson; along with his “other” family, the Johnson’s and his nieces and nephews ~ Kevyana, Amya, Jarret Jr., Joshua, Corey Jr., Kor’ean, Detony; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
