Obituary for Darris Maxwell

Visitation:    Tuesday, February 26, 2008 10am    Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1444 S. Compton Ave. St. Lous, Missouri Service:    11AM Interment:    Lake St. Charles Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri D arris Edward Maxwell born October 15, 1958 to the union of Walter Curtis Maxwell and Ruth L. Maxwell in St. Louis, Missouri.   His mother and father preceded him in death. In his educational quest he received a college degree in drafting.   He then wanted to help others, so he taught drafting in Georgia.   Darry was multi-talented in that he also received certification as a nurse practitioner and a welder.   Darry learned to play the bass guitar and piano at an early age. He   became proficient with his musical talents.    He was the bass guitar player with several groups and various churches. Darry was very talented and loved to sing.   He loved life and was always the life of the party.   He was loved and adored by many.   Darry believed in God, the supreme being and in the holy scriptures.   On February 19, 2008 , Darry answered His Master’s call.   He leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter , Darressa Maxwell;   four sisters , Edna (Frank), Catha (Warren), Waltia(Tyree), Judith (Porcha); two brothers , Donny (Donita) and Ivan (Mary);       nieces/nephews loved and like his sisters-brothers Jackie (Danny),   Andréa, Boris, Robin,   and Ann.   Special friends : Rodger, Paul from Atlanta, Beverly and Valencia;   a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.   He will be missed by all.
