Conswella Jones was born on March 17, 1972 in St. Louis, Missouri to Robert L. Straughter and Samella Jones.   Both parents preceded her in death.   She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and remained faithful to her belief until the end.   Conswella departed this life on Monday, January 14, 2008 at 5:53am .   One sister, Ann Jones and one brother, Earl Jones, Jr. also preceded her in death.   She leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughter , Brittany Jones;   her sisters , Dorothy Jones, Annette Washington (Maurice), Earlene Jones, Patricia Jones (Napoleon), and Roxana Jones;    one special friend , Angela;   a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.     Good-bye For Now   When I was a little girl, my mom and I did a lot of fun things together.   I remember when we went to the mall to take pictures; we also went to get hot dogs and cupcakes for lunch.   I remember the time when she went to go get her nails done and she let me pick out the color for her nails.   I picked out purple because I knew she liked purple.   So, guess what, her nails were purple.   Also, I will never forget the time when she would always wear one side of her hair short   and the other side long.   She always said that she looked good with that hair style.   Another memory of my mom is, whenever I did something wrong, she just looked at me once with that “look”, I knew instantly what that meant, and I needed to get myself together.   She was a loving, kind and careful mother.   Any child would be blessed to have a mother like her.   I love her a lot, and if I could, I would do anything to see her smile and laugh again.   But, I’m happy because I know that she is in a better place now.   That’s all I ever wanted for her.   So, good-bye for now Mom, but not forever, because no matter what happens, I know you will always be here watching over me.                     Love your daughter,
