Obituary for Christopher Tucker

Christopher Antoine Tucker was born December 21, 1986 in St. Louis, Missouri. Chris was the third child born to Dennis and Joyce Tucker. During his primary years, Chris accepted Christ and joined Greater St. Paul M.B. Church under the leadership of Rev. Moses Lee where he enjoyed singing in the choir and playing the tambourine. Chris was a very loving son who was full of joy. He was known for his beautiful smile and outgoing personality; his presence brought joy to others. Chris prided himself on his appearance, whenever you saw him he was always immaculately dressed; he was a trendsetter and had a flair for life. Chris overcame many obstacles and was always looking to improve himself. He was told that he would never have a career or job in the medical profession. Chris was not accepting of those discouraging words and went on to become a Restaurant Manager at McDonald Corp. After becoming a Corporate Manager, he continued to improve himself by graduating from University of Phoenix and received his Certification to be a Medical Assistant and began working at a local Dental office. Chris loved his family and was a dedicated friend. Some of his favorite times were talking with his family and hanging out with his vast array of friends. He was the apple of his sister’s eye and he had a close relationship with his brother, who called him a celebrity. Chris enjoyed life and had high expectations for himself, his family and friends. Chris was close to his grandfather, Frank Lumpkins, who preceded him in death. Chris was called home Sunday, May 3, 2015. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving parents ~ Dennis and Joyce Tucker, Sr.; brother ~ Dennis C. Tucker, Jr.; sister ~ Treina Tucker; grandparents ~ William and Annie Tucker; grandmother ~ Gloria Lumpkins; grandfather ~ Robert Anderson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
