Brother Andre L. Mosley, Sr. was born on February 20, 1959 in Saint Louis, Missouri to the parents of Brother Thomas C. Mosley Sr. and Elder Mamie Odessa Mosley of Saint Louis, Missouri. Both parents preceded him in death, as well as one brother, Brother William S. Whitson Jr., and one half brother: Quaid D. Whitson. Brother Andre L. Mosley confessed a hope in Christ, at the early years of his life and was connected with Pentecost Saints Tabernacle Church of Saint Louis, Missouri under the leadership of Bishop W. M. Hopson O.S. He converted his religion to the Nation of Islam and was connected with Mohammed Mosque No. 28 at St. Louis, Missouri under the leadership of Minister Donald Muhammad. He was educated in the City of Saint Louis Public School System, in the state of Missouri. He also received his General Education Diploma from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and received a Chef Diploma in the General Food & Beverage Industry through the State of Missouri Educational System. Brother Andre’s health begin to fail him in October 2013. He entered into eternity on October 25, 2013. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Janet Mosley; two sons, Andre L. Mosley ll and Christopher Paul Mosley; three daughters, Nevada Mosley, Breanna Mosley, and Latoya Mosley; seven grandchildren; brothers, Mr. Wayne D. Whitson Sr., Marcus G. Whitson, Dr. Darius J Whitson, Thomas C. Mosley, Louis L. Mosley, and Frederick D. Whitson Sr.; two sisters, Bishop Angela D. Dixson, O.S. and Dorothy G. Fleming; half brothers, Raymond N. Whitson, Kim A. Whitson, Ogene B. Whitson, Randy C. Whitson, Marvin B. Whitson, Ives C. Whitson, Gittano O. Whitson, Nicklaus R. Whitson, Patsy R. Whitson and Keturha C. Whitson; a host of nephews and nieces, great nephews and great nieces, cousins, and close friends!
