Virginia Fiddmont

Virginia E. Fleming Fiddmont was born on August 7, 1923 in Alton, Illinois to the union of Everett and Clara Fleming. In 1942, she married Robert Fiddmont and through this union, her daughters Judye Ann and Sharon Patricia were born. Her husband Robert, her daughter Judye, her brother Melvin and sister Georgia preceded her in death. Virginia completed her education at Douglass High School in Webster Groves, Missouri. She later attended Harris Stowe Teacher’s College. She worked as a Teacher’s Assistant at several elementary schools for the Webster Groves School District. She was lovingly known as “Nonnie” by her grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, nephews and her former elementary school kids whose lives she touched. Virginia leaves to cherish her memory: her loving daughter ~ Patricia; her three grandchildren ~ Robyne Cross, Michael C. Eldridge and Shaun Mckinney; her great grandchildren ~ Christian Cross, Reece Wheeler, Amari McKinney, Ashari McKinney, Shaun Mckinney, Jr.; her brothers ~ Everett Fleming (Betty) and Marvel Fleming; her son-in -law ~ Michael Eldridge; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
