"For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens." 2Corinthians 5:1     Visitation:    Friday, June 20, 2008   4pm-8pm    Miracle Temple Church of God In Christ   4001 Jennings Station Road, St. Louis, Missouri Service:       Saturday, June 21, 2008   10am Interment:    Lake St. Charles Cemetery   Sheila Renee Davis was born on August 27, 1967 in St. Louis MO . Both of her parents Mr. Nathaniel Taylor and Mrs. Darmaris Taylor preceded her in death. Sheila was the eighth of nine children. Her brother Cedric Holmes preceded her in death.   Sheila was educated through the St. Louis Public School system. On March 8, 2000 , she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Stanley Lamont Davis. Sheila was employed at St. Louis University. Sheila was saved and sanctified under the leadership of Pastor Joey Rivas of the St. Louis Power House Church. Sheila was a strong saint, filled with faith and had a willingness to pray and encourage all she met. She shared her Godly inspired views with anyone that would listen. Sheila had a special love for Praise and Worship. Sheila departed this life in the comfort of her loving home surrounded by her husband, brothers, family and friends on June 16, 2008 at 8:20 P.M. She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her husband, Stanley LaMont Davis, two sons, Antonio Taylor, Dione Taylor, step son, Isshawn Davis, one step daughter, Kierra Lewis and two granddaughters. One sister, Marika Ward (Robbin) , Sister in Law, Shirley Taylor, seven brothers, Delmore Holmes (Gwen), Terrence Holmes , Vincent Taylor, Steve Taylor (Linnette), Nathaniel Holmes ( Theresa), Darryl Taylor and Reginald Holmes (Bettie). Father and Mother in law, Elder Isadore and Missionary   Jessie Marie Davis, one Aunt, Jean Bobbie, one Uncle, Elgie Taylor, and a host of brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and the entire Power House Church family. Sheila will be greatly missed.
