Sallie Holland

S allie Towns Holland  was born on January 26, 1931 to the union of John and Katie Towns in Neelyville, Missouri.  She was preceded in death by both parents.  Sallie was one of five siblings.    Completing her educational journey, Sallie obtained a Master’s degree in Education.  She taught both primary and high school level classes for the Board of Education for over 30 years.    Sallie met her beloved husband, M. Douglas Holland while attending Lincoln University.  To this union, two daughters were born.  Her husband also preceded her in death.  She was a devoted Christian and a member of the AKA sorority.    On Monday, February 27, 2017, Sallie Towns Holland answered the call and went to rest in the arms of the Lord.
