Ronald Simms

Ronald J. Simms was born Dec. 13, 1949 to the union of Ruth Naomi and William Simms. Ronald was the second oldest of eight children. His parents, one sibling, two daughters, 2 granddaughters and one grandson preceded him in death.   Ronald confessed a belief in Christ at an early age. He attended Sumner H.S. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. "Goat" as he was called by his siblings entered into his peaceful rest on Jan. 9, 2016 Ronald leaves to cherish his memory ine son, Ronald Haynes; two daughters, Lorna Rowe and Ronneice Holmes of Aurora, CO; five grandsons; one granddaughter; three sisters, Patricia Butler, Rolanda D. Burns Simms (Gerald) and Lawanda Smith (Dimp); three brothers, Lawrence Simms, Jewell Simms (Charlotte) and Michael Simms (Sharon); eight nieces; five nephews; eight great-nieces; seven great-nephews; one aunt, Charlene Tuggles (James); and a host of other relatives and friends.
