Robin Oko-Oboh

Robin Arleatha Oko-Oboh, was born on March 12, 1979, to the union of Myatt(Mike) Westerfield and Chestine Lunceford Westerfield (both of whom preceded her in death).  She was the eldest of three siblings born to this union which includes Chestine Jacqueline Michelle Westerfield and Mike Westerfield Jr.  She is also the sister to Latrice Whittler, Gail Silva and Jermaine Chantel Johnson (who preceded her in death).  She was united in Holy matrimony to the love of her life, Israel Oko Oboh, on December 31, 2014.  Their son King Oje Oko-Oboh (who preceded her in death} was born on January 5, 2017.  She was an exceptionally loving and devoted wife and mother!

She professed her faith in God and was baptized at the Apostolic House of God.

Robin graduated from McCluer Senior High School in 1997.  She was a member of Club International, Senior Committee, Project Graduation, Teenage Health Consultant, Student Council Representative, Young Ladies of Elegance, National Council on Youth Leadership.  She also attended Lincoln University in Jefferson City and Southeast Missouri State University, in Missouri.  She began her professional career as a Civilian Employee with the Federal Government.  Her last position was administrative assistant with the Defense Contracting Auditing Agency.

Robin was a fun-loving, gentle spirit who loved to travel, write poems, attend music concerts, loved history and searching her family’s genealogy!



She was devoted, loyal and loving to family and friends.  She leaves to cherish her memory:  her loving husband Israel Oko Oboh, sister Chestine Westerfield, brother Mike Westerfield, sisters Latrice Whittler and Gail Silva.  Her loving aunt Eula Taylor, whom she lovingly called “Mom" who raised her, her uncle Robert Taylor and cousins raised together as siblings, Stephanie Taylor, Robert and Troy Taylor, both of whom preceded her in death.



Maternal Aunts and Uncles:  Jerry Bussey(Bunny), Thornton Jones, Arthur Lunceford(Charlotte), James Lunceford(Geneva), Debra, George, Jacqueline, Raymond(Rachel), and Mable White.

Paternal Aunts and Uncles:  Overa Murray (Sunny), Charlie Westerfield(Marggie),Rev Lonzo Westerfield (Christine). Those who preceded her in death:  Henry Westerfield, Harvey Westerfield, Alex Westerfield, Herman Westerfield, Lois Westerfield, Ira Lee Westerfield Grady, Geraldine Westerfield, Ozell Cole, Mozell Coleman, Joyce Griffin, Sheila McCray.



In-laws: Elder Anslem Asotie and Deaconess Tessy Oko-Oboh, Siblings Joan Zachary,Emmanuel Oko-oboh, Oseihie Karen Ikhisemon-Oje, Efua Olivia Awolola, Oseremen Oriafoh.



Marlowe Lunceford, Farah Kizzy Lunceford, Tabitha Henderson, Roshanda Mash, cousins with whom she shared a special bond.  Best friend, Mrs. Danielle Mays and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, whom she also treasured!
