Robert Taylor

Robert Louis Taylor Jr., affectionately known as (Boom) was born to the union of Robert L. Taylor and Eula Y. (Lunceford- Taylor) on 28th September 1967. He was the oldest of three children which includes, Stephanie A. Taylor and Troy C. Taylor (who proceeded him in death). He professed this faith in Christ and was baptized at Berea Temple Church. He was a member at Church on the Rock under Pastor David Blunt.
Robert was formerly united in matrimony to Rhonda Brown. To this union his only child Kourtney R. Taylor was born.
Robert graduated in 1985 from McCluer High School. He immediately joined the United States Air Force and served honorably for over eleven years. Upon his discharge, he worked in various fields as an Information Technology Recruiter and Project Manager before his employment as a Civilian Employee with the Federal Government. He received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Maryville College in 2004.
Robert was devoted to his family and friends. He was fun-loving, giving and a person who enjoyed the best of what life had to offer. He loved to travel eat at nice restaurants, and golf. He was a prankster and loved to cook and host Super Bowl and World Series parties at his home.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his beloved and cherished daughter, Kourtney R. Taylor, loving parents, Robert Sr. and Eula Y. Taylor, sister Stephanie A. Taylor, niece Kaylei Smith-Taylor and bonus siblings Robin(Israel) Oko-Oboh, Chestine Westerfield, and Mike Westerfield. He had a special brotherly bond with: Marlowe Lunceford, Timothy Bond, James Bond Jr., Andre Bond, Dennis Simon, and close bond with aunts Mable Brown, and Chestine Westerfield.
Paternal Uncles: John (Anne)Taylor, Garland Taylor, Lymon and Willie who proceeded him in death Aunts: Mary Bond, Elizabeth(Lavell) King, Louise Smith and Agnes Farrington who proceeded him in death.
Maternal Uncles: Jerry (Bunny) Bussey, Arthur(Charlotte) Lunceford, James Lunceford, George Lunceford, Raymond (Rachel) Lunceford, and Thornton Lunceford who proceeded him in death.
Aunts: Debra Lunceford, Jacqueline White who proceeded him in death and a host of other cousins and friends.
