Peter Chew

Peter Chew, Jr. was born June 7, 1949 to Peter Chew, Sr. and Frankie Chew in Greenville, Mississippi. Peter accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior. He attended St. Louis Public Schools. Peter got his certification on Automania and Body. He enjoyed working on cars and did so until he got sick. But his love for music inspired him to become a Disc Jockey, better known as the Mighty Chew. When Peter walked into a room he was the life of the party, instantly full of laughter and jokes. He had a heart of gold, always willing to help others. He never met a stranger. Family and friends meant everything to Peter. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: daughter (baby girl) ~ Brianna; two sons ~ Victor (Maira) and Clifton; two god-daughters ~ Taiyesha and Moaneisha; wife ~ Ruby; three sisters ~ Carolina, Diane and Juanita; three brothers ~ Roosevelt, Edward and Maurice; five grandchildren ~ Airahlyn, Aaron, Nate, Victoria, Barika and Jeff; five great grandchildren; best friend ~ Carlus (Dickie); and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Waiting for Peter at the Heaven Gates are his parents, Peter and Frankie, two sons, Aaron and Ejuan (Snookie), one god-daughter, Veronica (Roni), four sisters, Mernetta, Elizabeth, Rose and Nikita, three nephews, Freddie (Fred), Kevin (Boo) and Anthony (Lil Tony), one niece, Lyshelle (Shelle) and first love, Nancy.
