Michael Sutton

Michael DeAndre Sutton, age 34, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2010 in St. Louis, MO. Visitation and Funeral Services for Michael Sutton were held Saturday, December 11, 2010. Visitation was 10:00 a.m. with Funeral Services at 11:00 a.m. at New Emmanuel M.B. Church, 6233 Chatham, St. Louis, MO 63133 with Rev. Robert L. Barney, Pastor-Officiating. Interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery, St. Louis, MO. Michael DeAndre Sutton made his arrival on October 1, 1976 as the second son to Steve,who preceded him in death, and Vanessa (Slack) Sutton. He was also the brother of Steven T. Sutton. Michael attended elementary school and junior high school in St. Louis, MO and graduated from Brownsboro High School in Brownsboro, TX. Michael accepted Christ at an early age. After returning to St. Louis from Texas he pursued personal interest of his own including college and sports. On October 4, 2003 Michael married Trisha Allen. To this union two children were born, a daughter Christian Mikkel and a son Cameron Michael. Michael was a loving, charming, and intelligent young man. He was always upbeat, and his kind hearted spirit caused him to reach out to others and encourage them in their time of need. Michael was a very gifted young man. His love for the arts inspired his creativity in the areas of written poetry and free style drawing. Michael recognized the need to return to his spiritual roots, and after much soul searching he realized that change was needed. In July of 2010 he rededicated his life to Christ. He consciously began to work towards getting his “house” in order. On December 4, 2010 the Lord saw fit to call Michael home. He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his loving and devoted wife Trisha and children Christian and Cameron; mother Vanessa; brother Steven; mother and father-in-law Joyce and Larry Carter who loved and supported Michael as one of their own; sister-in-law Jena (Alonzo) Carter; three brother-in-laws Larry Carter, Jr., Keylan (Siobhan) Allen, and KeyVion Finger ; grandparents Robert and Gavina Williams, Ellen Slack, Ermalean Presley(Los Angeles, CA), and Christine McArthur; great grandmother Annie Mae Sutton(Los Angeles, CA); aunts and uncles Mauree(Aaron) Powell(Montgomery, AL), Mary Lena Williams(Atlanta, GA), Robert(Andrea)Williams(Atlanta, GA), Richard(Levon)Williams(Atlanta, GA), Victoria Presley(Los Angeles, CA), Zachary Lily(Los Angeles, CA), Mary Louise Corley, Manfret McGhee, Kim Williams(Columbus, OH), Anthony Williams(Columbus, OH), Michael Lynn Hudson.
