Melvin Bell

Melvin Bell was born April 23, 1954 to Thelma Bell and James Davis, (both preceded him in death) in Chicago, Illinois.  He was educated in the Chicago Public School District.  He later moved to St. Louis, Missouri.  Melvin was a very quiet man.  He was a good man, who loved life to the fullest.  Most of all, Melvin loved his family. Melvin departed this life on Friday, December 14, 2007 at 2:32pm at St. Louis University Hospital.  He leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter , Octavia, (Sean who preceded him in death);  four grandchildren , Corey, Britteny, Harriet and Javon;  one great-grandson , Brion;  two brothers , Joe (preceded him in death) and Willie;  six sisters , Jo Ann (Charles), Talula, Jeanette (Eddie), Carolyn (Nathaniel, Sr.) and Diane (David preceded him in death);  seven nephews , Joe, David, Macon, Kenneth II, Joseph, Nathaniel, Jr. and Brandon;  four nieces, Cherlyn, Nikki, Nesha and Lanita;  three great-nephews , Devion, Kenneth III and Robert;  two grand-nieces , Aniyah and Leanna;  a host of other relatives and friends.
