Karen Girlnezy Franklin Bridgett

Karen Girlnezy Franklin Bridgett was born on July 29, 1963, in Saint Louis, Missouri to Mr. Herlon Franklin and Helen Franklin. Her father, Mr. Herlon Franklin and her brother, Keith Anthony Franklin, preceded her in death.

Karen accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Greater St. Paul M.B. Church. She was baptized by the late Rev. Mase Lee, Sr.

Karen attended Saint Louis public schools and graduated from University City High School in 1981.

Karen was employed by Smith Kline for 10 years and her later years at Lambert Airport.

Karen enjoyed spending time with children during their different activities and involvement. She enjoyed cooking very very much!

Karen was called home to Glory on Thursday January 29, 2026. She leaves to cherish her memories: Her loving mother, Helen Franklin, Her dear friend, Darryle Ford, her daughter, Rykiel Bridgett, her grandson, Jayce, her grandchildren, Kiilyn, Karlie, Jakobe, (mother) Monique Martin Coppwood of St. Louis, Missouri. Keith Franklin, her nephew, Abigail Franklin, her great niece, Rev. Ryan Lee (Shekita Lee), Sheeluh Lee Branch, her cousin of Atlanta Georgia, Detrice Simpson (Sam). Linzy Collins, Marlan Washington, of Alpharetta Georgia. Kim Dowell, Pat Ford, Lula Ford, a host of cousins and friends and church family.
