Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 11am at Frieden Cemetery, 8941 N. Broadway, St. Louis, MO 63137 Joyce Martin was born on September 8, 1927 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Leroy and Lena Johnson. Henry Martin, her husband of over 25 years, preceded her in death as well as her son, Ronnie Bland and their son, Frederick Bland. She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving and caring nephew, Thomas Johnson of St. Louis, MO; a stepdaughter, Eula Pertile of Midland, TX; a stepson, Melvin Williams of St. Louis, MO; five grandchildren, Arthur Pertile, III (Renita) of Katy, TX, Beverly Agomuo of Houston, TX, Randy Pertile (Jennifer) of Midland, TX, Tonya Bland and Cedric Bland both of St. Louis, MO; 12 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
