James Davis

J ames Ray (Bay) Davis was born November 1, 1962 to Elder Jessie L. & Shirley A. Davis, Sr. in Memphis, Tennessee.   He entered into his heavenly mansion on April 25, 2007 .     He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age.   James attended Buena Vista High School in Saginaw, Michigan, graduating in the class of 1980 .   He then continued his studies at Tennessee State University, coming out with the class of 1985 majoring in Electrical Engineering.   He was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Beta Omicron Chapter.     A variety of experiences characterized his life.   James was fun loving, energetic and knew no strangers.   In his spare time, he was an inventor of several projects.   He was employed at Chrysler Corporation and Federal Mogul, Inc.     He is survived by his companion of 23 years, Glynis Davis;   two sons , Kwame Ture and Daniel Davis of St. Louis, MO ;   parents , Elder Jessie L. & Shirley A. Davis, Sr. of Saginaw, MI;   one brother , Jessie L. Davis, Jr. (Diane) of Riverdale, GA;   two sisters , Kimbery A. (Calvin) Davis of Saginaw, MI and Ruby L. Harvey of Douglasville, GA;   a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.     Loving Memories   You are not forgotten loved one Nor will you ever be As long as life and memory last We will remember thee.
