Harriet Kelly

May 17, 1941 — August 22, 2013

Ms. Harriet Pearson-Kelly was born May 17, 1941. This loving mother to Angela Morgan, William Smith, and Nathaniel Kelly Jr. was best known as "Ms. Mercy Seat" to her church community at Mercy Seat Baptist Church, while she was known as "Precious" to family and friends. Ms. Harriet Kelly frequently enjoyed the company of others. At church she was an avid choir member raising lots of money for Mercy Seat Baptist Church. At the senior building where she resided Ms. Harriet Kelly was a social butterly, throwing parites for everyone to come out and have a good time. In addition to being a dedicated mother, church member, and active spirit Ms. Harriet Kelly was known for her cooking. "Everything she cooked was good," says daughter Angela Morgan. "You could tell it was her." Ms. Harriet Kelly spent a portion of her life as a baker for the infamous Ms. Hullings Bakery. She was allowed the opportunity to travel to the Holy Land, Isarel, with her church. This served as a profound moment in Ms. Harriet Kelly's life in which she often times spoke about. Ms. Harriet Pearson-Kelly's family and friends would like to thank everyone for their continued love and support.
