Gregory Woods

Visitation: Friday, March 12, 2010 10am North Park United Methodist Church 1525 Orchard Service: 11am Interment: Laurel Hills Cemetery Mr. Gregory Woods was born on November 21, 1957 to the union of William Dennis Woods and Willie E. Woods. Gregory had two siblings, Larry D. Green and Denise D. Woods. His mother, Willie E. preceded him in death on December 24, 2000 and his brother, Larry preceded him in death in January, 2005. Gregory received his early education at Bryan Hill Grade School and Northwest High School from which he graduated in June 1976. He participated in basketball and received a scholarship to attend the University of Alabama. During his three year tenure, Gregory studied courses in Business Administration and Accounting. His favorite hobbies were playing basketball, playing cards or just hanging out with his friends. Two of his favorite expressions were, "I'm your baby brother" and "I'm a Woods"! During his lifetime, Greg had several occupations including machine operator, fork lift driver, warehouse shipping and receiving clerk, heating and cooling technician, handyman and etc. Some of the companies he worked for included Schnucks Warehouse, Purex Corp, Lithos Art Gallery, Elkay Industrial, Duke Mfg., Intercon Chemical and InterGlobal, Inc. Gregory is survived by his daughter, Aniqua Dupri Siquora Cleggett (Nicki) born June 10, 1980 in Birmingham, AL; his father, William Woods; his sister, Denise Woods of St. Louis, MO; his girlfriend of 10 years, Jada Douglas, who lives in Cahokia, IL; three nephews, Juan, Larry and Dennis; one niece, Raven; numerous other family members and friends.
