Elizabeth was the fourth of thirteen children of which two died in infancy. The family moved to Charleston, Missouri, where Elizabeth grew up. In 1932, she met Earl Thomas and they were married on October 28, 1934 in Charleston, Missouri by Rev Ezekiel Simmons, Father of Elizabeth. They had four children, Etta Mae (died in infancy), Evelyn, Earlene, and Arnett (deceased). The family then moved to St. Louis 1937 where they raised their kids. Earl preceded Elizabeth in death in January 1978. Elizabeth loved to watch baseball and attended many games with her family. She also was very devoted to her family and loved being with her grandchildren. On September 24, 2009 at 12:08p.m. Elizabeth went to be with our Lord with her family by her side. She leaves behind two daughters Evelyn Lee, Earlene.
