Funeral Service:      Saturday, June 14, 2008     10am     New Cote Brilliant COG  6195 Washington Ave.   St. Louis, MO Interment:     Lake St. Charles Cemetery Douglas Junior Heard , the son of Jackie and Diana Tompkins was born February 8th, 1976 in St. Louis, Missouri.   While growing up, he enjoyed playing with his sister and other family members. He attended Roosevelt High School   where he met the mother of his 2 beautiful children, Dougneshia & Dougniecia Heard. After completing high school, Douglas later went on to attend Vatterott College where he studied to become a   HVAC Technician.     While in school, Douglas worked a variety of jobs through various temporary agencies.   He did receive a certificate in heating and cooling from Vatterott College. His goal was to become a successful entrepreneur by opening up his own business specializing in hauling, construction work, and power washing.   Douglas was always there to assist family and friends with whatever their needs were. Douglas was called home on Sunday June 8th, 2008 .   He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents Jackie and Diana Tompkins; his sister Angela R. Tompkins; his 2 beautiful daughters,   Dougneshia & Dougniecia Heard; the mother of his children , Pamela Haughton; grandparents , Lavern & Prentiss Heard, grandparents, Gloria & Willie Tompkins; 2 uncles; 5 aunts; special cousins , Keith & Thomasina; his best friend Donovan; and a host of other relatives and friends.
