Donald Lee Belton was born August 16, 1955, to Arnold and Mary Belton in St. Louis, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Mary Belton, and his twin brother Arnold Lee.
He received his formal education at Beaumont High School in St. Louis. He also briefly attended the University of Missouri St. Louis (UMSL) to study business. His career included several years as a postal worker for the USPS before he returned to school, earning a diploma in Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Mechanic from Vatterott College in April 2007. He then worked as a building engineer at the Hyatt Hotel from 2008 to 2019. In his free time, he enjoyed sketching, drawing, and solving crossword puzzles. He was also a fan of a good game of Bingo
Donald was baptized in Jesus’ Name and filled with the holy Ghost in St. Louis and attended leadership of the late Bishop P.L. Scott. He later joined Zion Apostolic Pentecostal Church under the leadership of Bishop Oscar Houston. Accepted his calling into ministry and served faithfully as a Sunday School teacher.
On September 7, 2025, Donald Lee Belton leaves to cherish memories his three children, Antoinette Belton, Diona Scott, and Donald Jr., one brother, Jerry (Jonella) Belton, two sisters, Doris Belton and Gracy (William) Stanford, and two grandchildren, Aria Burns and Amiyah Smith.
