Christopher Pope

July 31, 1961 — June 12, 2018

Christopher Eugene Pope , also known as Fuzzy, was the oldest of two children born to Della Pope   and Charles Edward Pope on July 31, 1961.
Chris’ closeness with his sister, Cynthia was evident when they both  professed their belief in Christ and baptized together in June of 1976 at Rock Hill Baptist which is now The Rock Church.
Chris was educated in both the Brentwood and Webster Groves School Districts. He graduated from Webster Groves High in 1979.
After high school, Christ continued his education attending the University of Missouri at Rolla, which is known now as Missouri University Science & Technology.  In 1984, Chris graduated with a degree in chemical engineering. From there he attended Lindenwood University where he received his Masters in Business. Chris held executive positions with Union Electric, now Ameren and Pfizer company. He also worked in the St. Louis office of Johnny Cochran and for St. Louis Community College.
Chris was a mild mannered person who enjoyed time with his family. Besides his love of the St. Louis Cardinals, he also enjoyed playing Ping Pong where he reached the level of Semi Pro status.
His love and knowledge of computers was self taught. Chris leaves to cherish his memory: wife ~ Sheri; loving and devoted  mother ~ Della; father ~ Charles (Gloria); daughter ~ Lindsey (Troy) of California; sister ~ Cynthia; two aunts ~ Virginia Lacker (Dan) of Indiana, Lisa Parsons ( Texas ); two uncles ~ Carl E. Pope and Gregory Richmond; one nephew Kasi Key and last but not least his friend ~ Jonny Tibbs along with cousins and friends.
