Cedric Morgan

Cedric attended Hazelwood East High School and was a band drum major. He graduated in 1996 and went on to attend Jefferson City Missouri’s Lincoln University (Blue Tigers). During his time at Lincoln, he became a member of the Alpha Mu Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. On April 28, 2000, Cedric along with seven other members, founded the Theta Rho Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity. His primary instruments were percussions; however, during summer break, he taught himself to play the tuba. Cedric was an active participant in Lincoln’s music community and held several positions; among them were Band Board President, Section Leader, Kappa Kappa Psi Treasurer, Vice President, Drum Major and Student Conductor. He graduated from Lincoln University. Cedric leaves behind to cherish his memories, his parents, Roy K. and Merva L. Morgan; a brother Damon Morgan (Felicia); two nieces, Zuri and Dallyn; two nephews, Henry and Damon Jr.; a devoted girlfriend, Stephanie Reyna, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
