Carl Washington

Mr. Carl Washington was born to the late Lewis and Alice Washington on February 26, 1944 in Charleston Mississippi. Carl’s son Patrick Conners preceded him in death. Carl professed hope in Christ at an early age at Brooklyn CME Church in Webb Mississippi where he was a faithful member until he relocated to St. Louis, Missouri. In 1963 he was united in holy matrimony to Ada Mae Bland. To this union four children were born. Carl departed this life on Tuesday December 31, 2013 at Barnes- Jewish Hospital. He leaves to cherish his memories: his twin sister Alice Mae Owens; Seven children ~ Carl Washington, Jr. (Deborah) of Los Angeles, CA; Jennifer Washington, (Tracy Mims) of Webb, MS.; Denise Washington (Willie Locket) of Webb, MS.; Michael Conners of St. Louis, MO.; Gregory Washington (Chiquita) of Webb, MS.; Cornel Conners (Tamiko) of St. Louis, MO.; Jamie Conners of St. Louis, MO.; and Lesley Conners, a devoted daughter in law. Carl had 20 grandchildren ~ two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
