Brenda Lancaster

Apostle Dr. Brenda Kaye Lancaster was born May 1, 1955 to the union of the late Guy and Millie Mae Lancaster in Henderson, Tennessee. She departed this life on Saturday, December, 2, 2023.
Apostle Lancaster was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Millie Mae Lancaster and one brother, Perry Lancaster
Apostle Brenda Lancaster was a graduate of East Saint Louis Senior High School. She has served as a volunteer chaplain for Kenneth Regional Hospital in East St. Louis, IL. She further her education by attending Glad Tidings Bible College, Master’s School of Divinity and she received her master’s degree in biblical counseling and Doctorate Degree in theology at Midwest College of Theology.
She received and confessed Christ at an early age. She came to East St. Louis in May of 1968.
Apostle Lancaster was employed with St. Louis Public Schools where she retired October 1, 2016.
Apostle Lancaster leaves to cherish her memories her son, Shontez Lancaster of E. St. Louis, IL, daughter Shanika (Broderick) Bevineau of Granite City, IL; grandchildren, Shontavia, Sharidan, Amarion Lancaster and five step grandchildren. Three brothers, Larry (Martha) Lancaster, of Belleville, IL., Gary Lancaster, and Stevie (Sandra) Lancaster of Cahokia, IL; four sisters, Phyllis Alexander, Vicky McCottrell, Percynthia Lancaster and Janice Lancaster all of Belleville, IL., a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, church family and friends.
