Alma Eliotti

Alma Ree Eliotti was called to her Heavenly Home on Monday, October 19, 2015. She was born on June 3, 1953 to Lucy Mae Jones and the late Josepheus (Jodie) Hooper in Jonestown, Mississippi. Alma accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. She graduated from Hayti High School (one of the 1st integrated graduating classes in Hayti, Missouri). She also continued her education by attending Sanford Brown College (where she made the Dean's List). Alma started her career in banking at Gateway National Bank and eventually retired as a Loan Officer at First Community Credit Union (after 19 yrs. of service). Alma was united in Holy Matrimony to Robert Lee Eliotti and to this union, two children were born; Robert DeWayne Eliotti, Jr. and Anthony Lorenzo (Tony) Eliotti. She was preceded in death by her father, Jodie and her sister, Shirley Hooper. She leaves to cherish precious memories: her mother ~ Lucy of Hayti, Missouri; her two sons ~ DeWayne of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Tony (Chiffon) of St. Louis, Missouri; six sisters ~ Betty (Sam) Strawder of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Claretta Ellitt of St. Louis, Missouri, JoAnn Harvey of Kennet, Missouri, Linda Branch of Hayti, Missouri, Mildred (Tim) Pegues of Blytheville, Arkansas and Verna (Chris) Johnson of Hayti, Missouri; two brothers ~ Johnny (Rita) Jones of Senatobia, Mississippi and Aubrey Jones of Hayti, Missouri; three grandchildren ~ Anthony Jr. (TJ), Laila and Serenity (Ms. Bopsy); life long companion ~ Robert; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
