Reva Lewis was born March 18, 1988 to Theresa Cook and Rodney Lewis Sr. in St. Louis, Missouri. Reva was the third child of four. Reva confessed a hope in Jesus Christ at an early age. She was educated in the St Louis Public School System and was working on obtaining her nursing degree as a Registered Nurse at Forest Park Community College. Reva worked at Barnes Jewish Hospital a total of ten years. She started in housekeeping and worked her way up to a position as a Unit Secretary in the PACU on south campus. She really loved her job and her co-workers. You guys will truly be missed. Many of you would say her life was short, but for Reva it was a full happy life with so many uncharted avenues. She was truly a loving sister, aunt, niece, and friend to so many. If you had a problem she was willing to listen and not pass judgment. Her full of life attitude and love for family and friends made it easy for her to put a smile on her face in spite of the life curve that was placed upon her chest (Breast Cancer). Reva will surely be missed but never forgotten. Reva is preceded in death by her mother, Theresa Cook, grandmother, Audrey Edwards, and a host of uncles and aunts. Reva will surely be missed by: her father ~ Rodney Lewis Sr.; grandmother ~ Jeanette Scott; sisters ~ Jessica Phillips and Audrey Lewis; brothers ~ Byron Cook and Rodney Lewis; nieces ~ Audriauna Crump, Aniyah Lewis and Izabella Pittmon; nephews ~ Camren Simms and Rodney Lewis, III; and a long list of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that have no end.
