Obituary for Otis Brown

Otis Lee Brown, III was born May 18, 1991 in St. Louis, Missouri to his father, Otis Lee Brown, II and his mother, Stephanie Roberts (Antwayne Bryant). His father preceded him in death along with a special uncle, Curtis Safford. Otis attended Emerson Elementary School as a child and Sumner High School. He worked at a warehouse and the Cheesecake Factory. Don’t Cry Naw man don’t do all that crying, I’m O Da Don and we all going to meet again we gone be back like how we use to be on Harney and G street. God needed another real soulja to join him. Yall know I’m good I finally get to meet my ol dude and have a talk with him. Yall know me and Curtis about to be back closer than ever. I’ma see all my lil big homies lol. So naw man don’t cry for me yeah I was caught sleeping but I took it like a G. I did my best to prepare yall without scaring yall. Whitney I warned you when I had that dream. Moma I spent that whole day with you Shayla, Nana and my baby girl. Derion we had a chance to make up. Auntie Tracy I had you come over the day before so we can laugh and catch up. Jasmine we talked a few days before and you see on IG I took your advice and took my son and my gal to the park. Binky you know how we roll now you no longer have to protect me I’m up here watching over you. Ida you know I wanted to see Josh I see him lil dude taller then me but I would’ve still beat his @@@ lol but you keep taking care of your boys and as far as my sisters yall be strong moma need yall more than ever yall know she not goin say it but trust me she do. Granny I know I kept saying I was going to come see you and you kept saying you was go cook for me I’m sorry I didn’t make it I already knew you was going to cook too much food, we was just going to eat roll up and fall asleep that’s why I had you take a picture with me at Tracy house man I miss yall already Omyrah and baby O I know yall too young to understand but I love yall pass the moon and I will always watch over yall. Son I’m sorry I’m not there to teach you how to be a man but you are the forth generation it’s in your blood line you was born a g and remember our name hold weight. And as far as you daughter, I made it my business to spend a lil time with you before God called me home. Whitney and Jasmine please do your best to keep my kids together they are all what’s left of me on earth. Until we meet again I love yall and keep yall face up and stop crying cause I’m a G. Outgoing and always on time whenever you called him. Temperamental, kind, respectful and well-respected. Integrity; he was always honest and blunt, outspoken he cut right to the chase with his words and did no faking. Savage, stylish and a stand-up guy who had a heart of gold; playful and loved his family and kids passed the moon! Otis leaves to cherish in memory a loving devoted family: his mother ~ Stephanie Roberts (Antwayne Bryant); brother ~ Derion Myers; sisters ~ Portia Wilson, Jermesha Abernathy, Shayla Critten, Mercedes Brown, Antwaynett Bryant and Antwayna Roberts-Bryant; a special love ~ Whitney Walker and son, Otis Lee Brown, IV; Jasmine Kenelle, mother of his daughter, Omyrah Brown; grandparents; five nieces and one nephew; two special cousins ~ Jasmine Roberts and James Holmes; and a host of cousins; special aunts ~ Tracy Singleton, Ida Safford and Tonya Brown; and a host of family and friends.
