Obituary for Mildred Adams

Mildred M. Adams was the fourth child of eight children born to the union of John and Luella (Richardson) Adams, on December 18, 1942, in Saint Louis, Missouri. Her parents and six siblings all preceded her in death along with two nephews. Mildred accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of her life when she became a member of Good News Baptist Church. Mildred was also known as “Mickey” to family and friends. She always had a smile on her face and would light up a room when she entered with her witty personality. Mickey led a full life, lovingly administering to the needs and welfare of her son and grandchildren, and extending a helping hand to family and others who knew her. During her life she gave birth to a handsome son, Forrest who she nickname “Scooter”, he was the apple of her eye. The apple of her Scooter blessed her with three wonderful grandchildren, Terrion, LaDarien and Olivia whom she loved deeply. Mickey was also blessed with a new grandbaby that’s due to arrive in 2017. Mildred departed this life on Friday, November 18, 2016 at approximately 6:13 a.m., the Lord our Heavenly Father called her home. Mildred leaves to mourn and cherish her sweet memories: son ~ Forrest Lewis Green (Darlyn); three grandchildren ~ Terrion, LaDarien and Olivia; brother ~ Aubrey Adams; fifteen nieces; thirteen nephews; seventy great nieces and nephews, a host of great-great nieces & nephews, a host of cousins, other dear relatives and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
