Kimberly Sheree Wallace was born on July 29th, 1957 to the union of Terry and Claudette Wallace in Poplar Bluff, MO. She is the second of six children. She is preceded in death by her father Terry and two siblings Brian and Terrence Wallace. Kim was raised in Poplar Bluff during her early youth. The family then moved to Dayton, Ohio where they lived ten years. Eventually, the family moved to St. Louis, MO. where Kim graduated from Hazelwood West High School. She later took classes in the field of nursing before becoming a nurse’s assistant. Kim loved to play bingo and her family often called her the bingo queen. She was a cheerful person. She loved singing and music. In her earlier years, Kim traveled with Evangelist Garrett and assisted her with the children to our sister church in Toledo, OH. In her latter years she was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), a bone marrow disorder also considered as a type of cancer. Kim accepted Christ when her brother Kevin led her in the sinner’s prayer. After which she could barely whisper or utter a word; she whispered to her mother, “I’m going to be alright.” Kim’s final journey ended on Sunday June 24th, 2018 at Kindred Hospital while holding the hands of her husband and two sons. She leaves to cherish: her mother ~ Claudette Wallace; husband ~ Micholas ; two sons ~ Felix (LaChaka) and Christopher (LaKeeshea); seven grandchildren ~ Felix Jr., Arlando, Daron, Jaron, Khyree, Kyle and Kendrick; one great grandson ~ Dorian.
