Obituary for Eddie Jarrett Jr.

Eddie Lee Jarrett, Jr. was born on June 30, 1946 in Crockett County, Tennessee to the late Dossie Mae Sidney and Eddie Lee Jarrett, Sr. He departed this life at home. He was preceded in death by siblings; sister: Katherine Brown; and brothers: Albert Jarrett and Henry Thomas. He was a faithful worker and retired from Western House as a fork lift driver with over 30 years of dedicated service. His hobbies and loves were fishing, hunting and music; these were the things that soothed his soul. He also enjoyed playing softball. His laughter would brighten a room and fill it with love. He leaves to cherish: two daughters ~ Antoinette Cunningham (Donald) and Annette Jarrett; sister ~ Ernestine Lyles; brother ~ Melvin Jarrett (Pamela); six grandchildren ~ Antonio Jackson (Paulette), Tarina Jackson, Tylance Jackson, Ke’Shon Benford, Tatianna Benford and Kaleb Benford; four great-grandchildren ~ Lillian, TaMia, Malina, Marina; a host of nieces and nephews; a devoted ex-wife ~ Velma Jarrett; and care taker ~ Kyara Barry.
